OUR PURPOSE

The Rock Community Church has been given a vision, mission, and directive by God.  From the vision God has given us, we can derive our purpose individually and corporately.  God has given us the Great Commission in the Gospel of Matthew, chapter 28, verses 19-20.  "Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you." 

God's perfect plan includes introducing people to Jesus, baptizing them in water and with the Holy Spirit, and teaching them His ways.  God has given us a vision so that through His people He might accomplish His plan.  However, we must not only catch the vision, but we must also cast it as well.  To make this vision a reality, we must be committed to it, we must sacrifice ourselves for it, and we must discover and exercise our purpose to see it accomplished.  Attending The Rock, you will discover God's purpose for your life.
